<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Riverside County Public Health is strongly encouraging UCR employees who are residents of Riverside County to be tested for COVID-19.</span><o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">While Riverside County has the capacity to test about 4,000 people each day at its testing sites, less than half that number are being tested at this time.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Recently Riverside County entered the next tier of the state’s reopening plan after meeting the criteria for positivity and case rates.
</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"> </span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Riverside County Public Health is recommending all county residents, including those without symptoms, to get tested in order to slow the spread of the coronavirus, maximize its testing capacity, and reduce
the likelihood of falling back to a more restrictive tier. </span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"> </span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">To find locations and make an appointment for a free COVID-19 test visit
<a href="http://gettested.ruhealth.org">http://gettested.ruhealth.org</a>. Results are usually made available within 72 hours. We suggest that UCR employees, in particular those who are regularly coming to campus, take advance of this resource through Riverside
County. </span><o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">For essential employees working in high-density settings, who are strongly recommended to receive asymptomatic testing twice per week, please work with your supervisor to ensure that you are able to use up
to two of your regularly scheduled work hours for each COVID-19 test. Essential employees shall include UCPD, Residential Life staff, Housing & Dining staff (including students), Facilities staff working in high-density areas, Environmental Health & Safety,
Information Technology Services, Office of Emergency Management, Planning, Design & Construction, Early Childhood Services, Transportation & Parking Services, and Intercollegiate Athletics; and upon appropriate notification to represented groups.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
