[Faculty] UCOP Guidance on Federal Grant Effort Reporting

Dear Colleagues,



Attached are two documents from UCOP:  guidance related to federal grant effort reporting for those who employ GSRs and an FAQ that addresses strategies to ensure compliance with rules governing charges made to federal grants. These include shifting wages as well as tuition and fees to unrestricted sources, how to address charges for students who work on multiple grants, and the calculation of the daily effort percentage among other topics.



Please note that further guidance is planned for the new year.
