The classrooms mentioned above are part of UC Riverside’s Rooms for
Increasing Student Engagement (RISE) <https://ontherise.ucr.edu/>
initiative, which aims to equip classrooms with advanced technology and
offer a more immersive learning experience for students. We highly
encourage you to join our scheduled training sessions as RISE classrooms
are used extensively during the quarter and are typically unavailable for
hands-on training.


Some Faculty members who are scheduled to have classes in these rooms have
also received a training invitation earlier this week.


Here’s what you can expect from the ITS Classroom Technology Training:

   Overview of the classroom technology

   ITS demonstration on equipment use and classroom hardware, software, and
   teaching tools
   -

   Q&A session with the ITS Multimedia & Classroom Technology team
   -

   Hands-on training for Faculty


You are encouraged to extend this invitation to your teaching assistants
and to bring any lecture materials you plan to use in your course so that
you can receive personalized support.


If you are unable to attend the scheduled training sessions and you would
like to request one-on-one training with ITS, please send an email to
multimedia at ucr.edu. Please note that one-on-one sessions are subject to
classroom availability. If needed, you may also request support from ITS on
your first day of instruction.


The ITS Multimedia & Classroom Technology team is here to support you
throughout the quarter. For urgent issues, please push the “Help” button
