[Faculty] Capital Internships & TILGA Internship Funding for UCR Undergraduates

Dear Colleagues,

I hope your quarter is off to a great start!

As we look ahead to the upcoming terms, I am reaching out to ask for your
*support* in sharing the latest information regarding our *Capital
Internship programs (UCDC and UCCS) *with your students.

We want to ensure that students across all disciplines are aware of the
deadlines and upcoming information sessions to help them get started.

*University of California, Washington Program (UCDC)*.

   - *Upcoming Info Session:* TODAY, April 3rd at 12 pm via Zoom (see
   attached flyer to share with students)
   - *Fall Application Deadline:* April 15th, 2026
   - *Current Status:* Recruitment for Fall, Winter, and Spring is now
   *active.*

   - *🚨 Program Updates: *Workshops have been added to provide students
   with hands-on support during the application process.

*UC Center Sacramento (UCCS)*

   - *Upcoming Info Session: *April 10th at 2 pm via Zoom (see attached
   flyer for details)
   - *Fall Application Deadline:* April 23rd, 2026
   - *Current Status: * Recruitment for Fall, Winter, and Spring is now
*active. *

   - *🚨 Program Updates: *Students are now strongly encouraged to submit an*
   "Applicant Preparation Form" *to receive one-on-one support with their
   application materials before applying to the program. This will help ensure
   that students' materials are competitive with those in the applicant pool.

*TILGA Internship Funding Program (Deadline Extended!)*
Financial support for an unpaid summer internship. Up to $6000!

   - *New Deadline: April 12th by 11:59 PM*
