We are pleased to welcome *Dr. Martha Alibali*, Professor of Psychology at
the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Dr. Alibali’s research explores how
perception, action, and gesture support learning, particularly in STEM
education. She will share insights on how instructors can use gestures,
drawings, and physical models to make complex ideas more accessible and
engaging for students.
*Workshop Overview:*
Join us for *bagels and coffee* as we explore how multimodal communication
can enhance teaching and learning. This interactive session will highlight
practical strategies to guide student attention, clarify complex concepts,
and strengthen understanding through embodied and visual representations.
