The goal is to enhance the efficiency, clarity, and consistency of the EPA's pesticide registration processes. The selected awardee will also help identify agricultural focus areas for crop tours. Overall objectives include improving skills, aligning competencies with the EPA's mission, promoting best practices, and educating stakeholders on regulatory procedures.</p>

These research activities shall be centered in either chemistry, biochemistry, the biological and medical sciences, or some interdisciplinary combination of these subjects and conducted under the guidance of a full-time, approved science faculty member at the college or university receiving an award.
