<div dir="ltr"><div>Dear Faculty,</div><div><br></div><div>We are pleased to share that the Graduate Division will offer a <strong>third round of the Dissertation Completion Fellowship Award (DCFA)</strong>. The goal of this fellowship is to relieve doctoral students of teaching or equivalent responsibilities so they can focus on completing their dissertation and make timely progress toward degree completion. These awards are intended to support students in the final stage of writing their dissertation/thesis and may be awarded for <font color="#990000"><strong>Summer and/or Fall 2026</strong>.</font></div><div>
<p><strong>Application Deadline:</strong> <strong><font color="#990000">May 1, 2026</font></strong></p>
<p><strong>Eligibility:</strong><br>
These opportunities are available to <strong>continuing PhD students who have advanced to candidacy</strong> and can provide a clear timeline demonstrating that they will graduate <strong>by the conclusion of the fellowship award period</strong>. The fellowship recognizes students’ academic achievements while providing dedicated time to complete their dissertations.</p>
<p><strong>Important Requirements:</strong><br>
The DCFA fellowship includes two key requirements:</p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Recipients <strong>must graduate by the end of the fellowship term(s)</strong> awarded.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p><strong>Employment is not permitted</strong> during the fellowship period.</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p>These guidelines are strictly enforced.</p>
