[Msoadm] Ladder Rank Titles and Other Related Titles Academic Appointees Range Adjustment Increase 3% Effective October 1, 2021

Below is the Academic Range Adjustments Program effective for October 1, 2021. The updated tables are posted on UCOP's Academic Personnel and Programs salary scales page, found here<https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/compensation/2021-22-academic-salary-scales.html>. Salary Scales for Faculty, Professors of Teaching and other related titles 3% scale rate increase effective October 1, 2021 (subject to rounding), with adjustment so that minimum raise is 3% to total salary (i.e. including above-scale or off-scale portion).

  *   Faculty ladder rank, equivalent faculty and other faculty Tables 1-4
  *   Faculty ladder rank, participants of Health Sciences Compensation Plan Table 5, Scales 0-9
  *   Faculty Lecturer with Security of Employment Series Tables 1L-4L
  *   Faculty Lecturer with Security of Employment Series, participants of Health Sciences Compensation Plan Tables 5L, Scales 0-9

The range adjustment is being coordinated by the Office of the President-Academic Personnel and will be implemented by the UCPath Center (UCPC) in conjunction with the Central Academic Personnel Office and UCR UCPATH Campus Support Center (CSC).  Existing Faculty with system wide scale rates will be updated via the ranges adjustment process in mid-September. Orgs will be notified and sent a validation report prior and post to the range adjustment process when the updates are complete.

Below is the October 1, 2021 salary program timeline schedule and attached are all the job titles being range adjusted.

*Freeze only applies to Pay Component changes to the Impacted Population (which are those in the salary plans being range adjusted).
(Pay Component changes include job code changes, employee classification changes, salary plan changes, pay rate changes, etc.)
New Hire, Concurrent Hire, Rehire, Termination, Retirement, Extend Job, and Short Work Break transactions CAN be processed.
Freeze DOES NOT apply to any other populations.
