Dear Campus Stakeholder,

The time has come for UC to officially start our preparations for the successor bargaining contract with UAW for the Graduate Student Researchers (GSR/BR unit) and Academic Student Employees (TAs, Readers, Tutors/BX unit).
To prepare and to ensure that we understand stakeholder feedback, we are asking you to complete a confidential survey re: the upcoming negotiations. There are three pieces of the survey to complete with different deadlines. Please complete survey #1 by April 5th, and the two surveys that make up #2 by April 26th.

  1.  A high-level Bargaining Preparation survey in SmartSheets that can be found here<https://app.smartsheet.com/b/form/74b4925a5a3841b5a53aaaa1d016321f>. This survey asks broad questions that will help us prepare for bargaining, including the potential challenges and opportunities in merging the BR and BX contracts. Solutions-oriented responses are encouraged, and this survey is due on April 5th.
  2.  Two surveys requesting article-specific feedback across the BR and BX contracts to capture the changes you believe the University should make during successor bargaining. UCOP has designed the surveys to make it easy to capture cross-functional feedback at our location. The Bargaining Survey (BR<https://app.smartsheet.com/b/form/9c485ec4ded245c29a388119af9040b3> and BX<https://app.smartsheet.com/b/form/69b0d2dc36e14bf395781e70a85af685>) is due on April 26th, but we're requesting your feedback sooner so we can review initial feedback at our April 12th meeting.
These surveys should not be shared with bargaining unit members. Please note that this will not be the only time we collect feedback from campus stakeholders during the bargaining process and that I am sharing this survey with multiple groups across campus.
