This communication is to inform the campus of proposed revisions to PPSM-84: Accommodations for Nursing Mothers and to provide an opportunity for staff to comment on the proposed revisions.

Who The Proposed Revision Impact
The proposed revision applies to policy-covered employees in the Professional & Support Staff (PPS) and Senior Professionals (SPP), and Senior Management Group (SMG) personnel groups.

Proposed Revisions
Revisions to the policy include:


  *   Technical and clarifying edits for compliance with legal requirements.

Review of the Draft Policy
Tracked and clean copies of the proposed policy are posted on UC's website at UCnet<https://ucnet.universityofcalifornia.edu/working-at-uc/proposed-changes-for-review-accommodations-for-nursing-mothers/>.

Comment Period
Employees covered by the PPSM-84 policy who wish to provide comments on the proposed revision may submit them to HRPolicy at ucr.edu<mailto:HRPolicy at ucr.edu> by Friday, September 23, 2024.
