Re:       Managing in a Unionized Work Environment Workshop

The Employee and Labor Relations Office invites you to attend the newly redesigned Managing in a Unionized Work Environment workshop where we will be diving deep into the challenges and complexities of managing a workforce that is represented by a union.



This workshop is intended to provide supervisors with a high-level view of employee and union rights, supervisor's duties and responsibilities, as well as limitations and restrictions present when managing a unionized (or unionizing) workforce.



This workshop will be delivered in person and virtually via zoom. Registration is required via LMS<https://ucrlearning.ucr.edu/> to attend the workshop in person, which has a limited capacity of 32 seats.  Attendees joining the session via Zoom<https://ucr.zoom.us/j/4700203644?omn=97685191033> on the day of the event are not required to register.  The virtual session will be recorded.



Please note this workshop is intended for supervisors, managers, and human resources officers only. Please do not forward this invitation to non-supervisory or represented staff.

1. Go to UC Learning Center at https://ucrlearning.ucr.edu/

2. Enter your UCR NetID and password

3. Type in a key word from the course title in the search field and click Go

4. Click on the title of the class and select Register

5. Review the activity details and select Submit to complete your registration
