Dear Colleagues,



UC is launching its 6th Systemwide Policy-Covered Career Staff Engagement
Survey on April 27. Understanding our employees’ experiences, perspectives
and engagement is essential to strengthening our workplace culture,
supporting our community and, ultimately, to fulfill our mission.



The Systemwide Staff Engagement Survey is just one element of a
comprehensive initiative that also includes a benefits survey, exit survey
and total remuneration study.



*Eligibility*

Eligible campus-based policy-covered career staff will be invited to
participate in the UC

Systemwide Staff Engagement Survey. *On April 27*, they will receive an
email with a link to the survey from Deloitte, the global professional
services firm conducting the survey on UC’s behalf. For more information

voice.
The survey *closes May 8*.



*Background*

Developed by a systemwide workgroup and UC Human Resources with Deloitte,
the survey evaluates engagement, well-being, leadership, and career
development. The workgroup comprised location representatives, CUCSA, Staff
Advisors, and experts. Separate from local surveys, this initiative allows
employees to provide feedback to both campus leadership and the Office of
the President.

"The Systemwide Staff Engagement Survey offers a vital opportunity to
evaluate the experiences and perspectives of our policy-covered staff,"
stated Dianna Henderson, Vice President of Human Resources. "This
initiative will pinpoint key drivers of employee satisfaction, highlight
opportunities for institutional improvement, and guide the development of
strategic efforts to strengthen the employee experience."

Survey responses are strictly confidential. Deloitte will facilitate the
analysis and reporting of data in the aggregate. To ensure privacy,
individual responses and personally identifying information will not be
accessible to anyone at UC.
