  State law (California Elections Code section 14001) requires employers to
  post a notice to their employees advising them of their option to take paid
  leave to vote. </font></span></p>

  Requirements</font></h2>
  <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in;line-height:normal;font-size:12pt;font-family:Aptos,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Roboto"><font color="#000000">The Time Off to Vote notice, which is available in <a href="https://elections.cdn.sos.ca.gov/pdfs/tov-english.pdf" target="_blank">English</a> and <a href="https://elections.cdn.sos.ca.gov/pdfs/tov-sp.pdf" target="_blank">Spanish</a>, must be
  clearly posted where employee notices are displayed. If your department has
  multiple locations for employee notices, please ensure the notice is
  prominently displayed in each of those locations. You have the option of
  printing and posting them indefinitely or within 10 days of each election.
  For hybrid and remote employees, please ensure that they are informed on
  where to find the mandatory workplace posters on the <a href="https://hr.ucr.edu/policy/mandatory-work-posters" target="_blank">CHR webpage</a>. </font></span></p>

  are eligible for paid time off for the purpose of voting only if they do not
  have sufficient time outside of working hours to vote. The intent of the law
  is to provide an opportunity for workers to vote, who would not be able to do
  so because of their jobs.</font></span></p>

   <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in;line-height:normal;font-size:12pt;font-family:Aptos,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Roboto"><font color="#000000">Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.</font></span></li>
