Sent on behalf of Academic Senate Chair Sang-Hee Lee
Dear colleagues,
As you know, faculty have been thinking about the integrated relationship we have with our graduate students whom we advise, mentor, and supervise. Although faculty have considerable autonomy, it is important to have a conversation and come to an agreement with our graduate students about the expectations of academic research and those of employment.
Please refer to the attached documents and consider adopting the guidelines contained within.
Yours,
Sang-Hee
Chair of the Academic Senate
