UCR Senate Town Hall - UC-Wide Common Academic Calendar



Dear Colleagues,

On Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 1:00pm via Zoom, the UCR Division of the Academic Senate will host a division town hall for discussion about a UC-Wide Common Academic Calendar.  Please plan to attend by registering.

The APC Systemwide Academic Calendar Workgroup Draft Report<https://www.ucop.edu/institutional-research-academic-planning/content-analysis/academic-planning/draft-apc-common-calendar-workgroup-report-for-community-input.pdf>, is currently under review by Academic Senate committees. UCR divisional comments will be gathered, summarized, and transmitted to the systemwide Academic Senate.

Immediately after the town hall meeting you will have an opportunity to provide written comments by way of a survey.  Additionally, there will be a poll about this matter.  Links for both the survey and poll will be shared with you after the town hall.

Finally, after reviewing the report, please remember to provide your individual comments directly to the Academic Calendar Workgroup via calendar at ucop.edu<mailto:calendar at ucop.edu>. The systemwide calendar workgroup email will accept comments to May 30, 2025.
