Dear UCR faculty,


The UC Washington Program (UCDC) is now accepting applications for visiting
faculty teaching positions for the 2026–27 academic year. Each term, over
200 UC undergraduates live, study, and intern in Washington, DC, and we
rely on University of California Senate faculty to provide courses that
enrich their academic and professional experiences.



UC visiting faculty appointments are based at the UC Washington Center in
DC and include a furnished apartment, round-trip airfare, and course relief
on your home campus. Courses must include an experiential learning
component and should align with one of UCDC’s four academic areas:

   - Government and Institutional Power
   - Policy and Governance
   - Social Justice and Community Engagement
   - Cultural and Historical Narratives



Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis beginning *November 15,
2025*.
