The Committee on Research (CoR) invites applications for the 2026-2027
funding cycle. Please review your options below:



*Grant*

*Eligibility*

*Grant Details*

*Omnibus Research & Travel* (RTA)

All Senate Faculty

Non-Competitive. For general research & travel support. New: Shortened
application; no proposal narrative required. Report required.

*Committee on Research *(CoR)

All Tenured Professors (effective July 2026)

Competitive. For tenured faculty developing major new projects. Report
required.

*Regents Faculty Fellowship* (RFF)

Assistant Professor

(Early Career)

Competitive. For junior faculty NOT submitting tenure files within the next
2 years. Report required.

*Regents Faculty Development* (RFD)

Assistant Professor

(Near Tenure)

Competitive. For junior faculty submitting tenure files within the next 2
years. Report required.

*General Guidelines:*

   1. You may apply for Two Grants total:
      1. 1 Omnibus Application (RTA) + 1 Competitive Application (RFF, RFD,
      COR)
      2. Limitation: If awarded $5,000 or more for your Competitive
      Application, your Omnibus Application will be automatically voided.
   2. All applications must be written for a general audience.



*Grant Highlights:*

   1. Omnibus (RTA): Automatic award. Funds can be used for travel or
   research. Funds do not expire.
   2. RFF + RFD Application: Letters of support are no longer required
   3. Reporting is now required for all grant types to help justify future
   intramural funding
