<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">We are asking that you complete a quick (10-minute) <a href="https://csun.sjc1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3DWqfn61ZavMzIO">survey</a> to help define mathematical expectations <i>in a variety of disciplines</i> across
the California Community Colleges (CCC), California State University (CSU), and University of California (UC) systems. In particular, we are interested in understanding how mathematics is employed in both mathematical <i>and non-mathematical courses</i> throughout
a student’s academic journey.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">This survey is being conducted by the Mathematics Competencies Subcommittee of the Intersegmental Committee of the Academic Senates (<a href="https://icas-ca.org/">ICAS</a>). This subcommittee is charged with writing
a Statement on Competencies in Mathematics Expected of Entering College Students, which was last <a href="https://icas-ca.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/ICAS-Statement-Math-Competencies-2013.pdf">revised in 2013.</a> <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">The majority of the survey is designed to elicit your opinions on the significance of various mathematical skill sets <i>within your discipline’s course offerings</i>. Your input is invaluable and will aid the
subcommittee as it formulates comprehensive mathematical expectations, ultimately guiding high school students aspiring to pursue specific fields. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
