<p class="MsoNormal">RE: 2024-2025 Grant Changes to Omnibus Travel Only + Research and Travel<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The Committee on Research is combining and simplifying the Research & Travel (RTA) and Travel Only (TO) applications. The new application will no longer require a written proposal or budget justification. However, for awards involving the
use of rDNA/biohazards, human pluripotent cells, or human or animal subjects, a copy of the final Proposal Narrative and protocol number will need to be submitted for verification with the UCR Office of Research Integrity.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The committee felt that the award amount for the RTA did not warrant a full application. The new application will be awarded a set amount determined by the committee’s budget and number of applications received.

<p class="MsoNormal">Committee on Research, Regent Faculty Fellowship, and Regent Faculty Development, applications will be unchanged.<o:p></o:p></p>
