Hope you're all keeping cool in this summer heat. My name is Abby Choy and I'm excited to serve as your next ASUCR President! I have a few opportunities for you to apply this summer for both incoming and continuing students.

🧑‍⚖️ Associate Justice Application<https://forms.gle/dHKST18cbMNZUctL8>: The Associate Justices of the Judicial Council are the voting members of the council. Their primary responsibilities are attending the weekly meetings that the Council holds; where matters from mediation within ASUCR to violations of ASUCR officials are discussed confidentially. This position i s paid and is a 2 year commitment. If you have any questions please contact me either through emailing or replying to this newsletter.

🏥 Student Health Advisory Committee<https://forms.gle/g649NDPrKBaUZo2H7> Application<https://forms.gle/g649NDPrKBaUZo2H7>:  The mission of the Student Health Advisory Committee (SHAC) is to serve as an advisory body to the University of California, Riverside, Student Health Services (SHS), representing a diverse group of campus interests in promoting the health and wellness of the UCR student enrollment. SHAC shall serve as a liaison between the student body and the administration of the Student Health Services, bringing to the forefront issues and concerns from the students. Sitting on the committee provides a stipend. This committee is looking, but not required, for people who can identify with one or multiple of these groups:

  *   Current or past usage with UC SHIP or student health services
  *   Is LGBTQIA+
  *   Is a transfer student
  *   Is an international student
  *   Is undocumented

We are looking for community leaders who are motivated and passionate about reaching out to community members within and outside ASUCR in order to foster programming and services that can uplift Highlanders to being the best they can be.
