☀️Hi Highlanders!☀️

Hope you're all keeping cool in this summer heat. My name is Abby Choy and I'm excited to serve as your next ASUCR President! I have a few opportunities for you to apply this summer for both incoming and continuing students.

🌟 First Year Fellowship Program<https://forms.gle/ZqSKgZiniWm3wnfU6>: If you are an incoming UCR student, welcome and congratulations! ASUCR has a stellar opportunity for you to start your college journey off strong in student government. Gain experience in 13 Executive Offices to learn more about advocacy on a college campus. 🌟 UC Title IX Student Advisory Board Application<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScEZcgYzduYdIUwk4uNJtpwNpWoVA3GL4ASb7qQGM9PgUy02g/viewform>: If you are interested in advocating for UC wide change to Title IX, please apply to represent Riverside! Meetings are once a quarter with an in person retreat in Oakland. You are also expected to work with UCR's Title IX Offices and Care offices. Check out the application and this info page <https://www.ucop.edu/title-ix/resources/student-advisory-board/index.html> for more details.
Deadline: July 7th 11:59 PM.

🌟 HUB Governing Board<https://forms.gle/S9s8ZJFsUMxmFxAbA>: The HUB Board is responsible for developing all facility operations policies, approving all budgetary aspects (including annual budget, usage fees, etc.), developing usage policies for the facilities and approving special event requests. They also providing comments on HUB programming, initiatives, operations, and approve an annual report developed by the HUB facility detailing the fiscal and management operations of the facility to the Chancellor and students.
Deadline: July 15th at 11:59 PM

🌟 UCR Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Committee Student Representative<https://forms.gle/fqgBqaTGiRubRwQW8>: If you are interested in environmental policy, pest management, or just being more involved with the environment on our campus, the UCR Integrated Pest management Committee is looking for a student representative.
Deadline: July 30th 11:59 PM.
