Enlight Education is excited to announce the launch of a new after-school program for local middle schools, commencing Fall 2024. We are currently seeking enthusiastic volunteers to assist in teaching engaging lesson plans across four key subject areas: Biotechnology, Computer Science, Engineering, and Science. Volunteers will also play a pivotal role in facilitating these programs, which will take place biweekly and run for 2-3 hours after school. This is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to the educational growth of our community's youth and gain valuable teaching experience.

Campus Finance Committee (Admin)
As the Vice President of Finance for ASUCR, I, Cooper Kumar, sit in as the ASUCR Representative at UCR's Campus Finance Committee meetings. At these meetings led by the Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor Elizabeth Watkins, I have an opportunity to gain insights into UCR's Campus-Wide Budgetary outlooks and contribute on behalf of the student body. Other members present at these meetings include all of the Vice Chancellors and the Deans for each respective college.
To ensure transparency and communication with the student body, I wanted to disperse the slideshow presentation that we had gone over during our first Campus Finance Committee Meeting. This information is public information, however I believe in making it easier to access for UCR students. As a result of this, you can find the presentation linked<https://drive.google.com/file/d/1H-nfV_p4FXdN8tEeV2OjHsAmM9-PeOAz/view?usp=drive_link> here.
I greatly look forward to continuing to serve you all this year, and I hope you have an awesome rest of your week!! 🎉
Best Regards,
Cooper Kumar (he/him)
