*FROM THE OFFICE OF THE ASUCR ELECTIONS *
Good day Highlanders! My name is Kevin Arizmendi, and I am this year's
ASUCR Elections Director. I am so excited to announce that Voting Week will
begin next week, April 28th. You have the choice to vote for those who will
represent you! Whether you have concerns about accessibility,
sustainability, or safety, vote for those who share your voice.

Your ballot will be emailed to your R'Web email address the morning of
April 28th. Once you submit your ballot, visit one of the polling sites
throughout campus and pick up a cool incentive! You are able to pick up a
shirt, tote bag, bottle, or a food item for your contribution.

*FROM THE OFFICE OF THE VICE PRESIDENT OF CAMPUS INTERNAL AFFAIRS*
The R’Closet is collaborating with UCR’s REVIVE Thrift Club and ASUCR to
host a Spring Clothing Drive outside of the Bear’s Den on *May 1st from 10
am - 2 pm*. Students who donate a minimum of 2 items will receive a
complimentary boba drink from Boba House. Students who donate more than 2
items may receive extra drinks depending on how many items they donate.
Donations received will be given to the R’Closet to redistribute to
students (free of charge) who may need professional attire for internships,
interviews, or other professional situations. This event aims to promote
circular fashion and sustainability by keeping clothing that would
otherwise end up in a landfill in the hands of a new owner who can benefit
from it.

Hello Highlanders!

Happy Wednesday, and I hope your midterms are going well.

Tired from studying and need to take a break? Get out your journal or
Google Calendars, and save the date for the third annual Global Fair,
hosted by the ASUCR Office of International Students. The countdown begins!

On Wednesday, May 7th, be prepared for a delightful evening filled with
good food, live music, and performances from your favorite student
organizations. There will also be opportunities to enter a giveaway,
purchase merchandise, and meet different on-campus departments and student
organizations. Note that the event will be outdoors around the Bell Tower
and surrounding lawn from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.

If you are interested in participating, tabling, or are a student
organization who would like to get involved, please let me know by emailing
