☃️ Welcome back Highlanders! 🐻‍❄️ I hope you've all had a great start to your Winter quarter and I'm wishing you all the best during your time here at UCR. Like the rest of you, ASUCR is back to being hard at work and I wanted to provide you all a few opportunities/updates to get more involved on campus.

❄️ Executive Fellowship Director Application Open
ASUCR is looking for a new Executive Fellowship Director ready to hit the ground running. The ASUCR Executive Fellowship Director oversees the Executive Fellowship Program, chairs biweekly meetings, holds fellows accountable, and plans the year-end recognition ceremony. The role requires mentoring experience and familiarity with ASUCR. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic role models for first-years.

❄️ Student Town Hall for Upcoming Chancellor
With Chancellor Wilcox stepping down from his position as Chancellor, the Chancellor Search Advisory Committee is looking for input from students in this session. My name is Rony Garcia and I serve as the Campus Action Vice Chair for the UC Student Association (UCSA), and as the Director of Campus Partnerships in the Office of External Affairs. I’m committed to advocating for the issues that matter most to our Highlander community. Our mission is to ensure that higher education policies and practices reflect the unique needs and voices of UCR students.

To do this effectively, we need your input. We’ve launched an anonymous advocacy form to better understand the challenges you’re facing and the changes you want to see on campus. Whether it’s about affordability, accessibility, or campus climate, your feedback will guide us in creating meaningful initiatives and pushing for solutions that make a difference.
