Campus Notice: Critical Campus Services Restored Following an Unexpected
Service Disruption

Dear Highlander Community,

Earlier today, Friday, October 30, the UCR campus experienced an unexpected
disruption to critical campus services for over one hour, beginning around
11:35 a.m. During this time, many UCR websites and online systems were
unavailable.

ITS worked diligently to identify and remediate the issue, and services now
appear to be restored. We will continue to monitor the situation closely to
ensure all services are fully restored. The cause of the disruption is not
yet known, and our teams are actively investigating.

We understand how disruptive this was to your work and learning, and we
appreciate your patience as ITS worked to resolve the issue.
