<div dir="ltr">Dear Campus Phone Users,<br><br><div>The Campus NEC legacy phone system has been restored. Campus phone extensions are able to receive and make outgoing phone calls, including for 911 services. <br><br></div><div>Zoom Phone users experienced no service disruption throughout the NEC outage. <br><br></div><div>At approximately 8:30 AM, UCR Information Technology Systems (ITS) received reports of users experiencing phone issues with the Campus Legacy NEC system and began investigating. It was determined that the service disruption was a widespread issue affecting all users of the NEC phone system. ITS deployed all staff and key vendor contacts to resolve the issue and restore services as quickly as possible.<br><br></div><div>Again, please note that Zoom is the preferred phone service for the campus, as the Legacy NEC phone system has reached End-Of-Life (EOL).
