<p><font face="arial, sans-serif">The University of California Board of Regents is searching for the 2027-28 student regent to serve on UC’s governing body,
and <font size="2"><span style="color:black">I am pleased to announce that

the application for the UC student regent</a><b> </b>representative is now live! </span></font></font></p><p><font face="arial, sans-serif"><font size="2"><span style="color:black">The student regent application is</span> <span style="color:black">open to all UCR students, and offers the opportunity to participate at the UC Board
 of Regents level, and </span></font>bring the voice of students to every issue and decision before the board<font size="2"><span style="color:black">. The </span>s<span style="color:black">tudent </span>r<span style="color:black">egent
 serves a one-year term as a full voting member of the UC Board of Regents, preceded by a one-year, non-voting term as </span>r<span style="color:black">egent-</span>d<span style="color:black">esignate </span>(a 2-year commitment).
