High Priority - Please Read:
The Riverside Transit Agency (RTA) is launching their new RTA Go Mobile app on December 13, 2022. The Token Transit app will no longer be valid as of January 1, 2023.
You will receive an email confirmation from RTA on or near December 13th letting you know you have been signed up for an eFare account and to click on a link to complete the registration process. This is a valid link. An account has already been created for you using your mobile phone number and the email address this message has been sent to.
Do not try to download the app or create an account until you receive the email notification.
Instructions are as follows:

  1. Once received, click on the link in the "Please complete your eFare registration" email and complete the registration process.
  2. Download the RTA GoMobile app available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  3. An account has already been created for you. Your email is the email address you confirmed for your Parking Account (the address this message was sent to) and the phone number is the mobile phone number you provided to UCR and the mobile device you are using.
  4. Select My Passes. You will see your UC Riverside mobile pass.
  5. Tap on the pass to activate it. When activated and ready for use you will see a QR code and scrolling timestamp on the bottom of the screen.
  6. To use your pass, simply scan the QR code with the reader on the top of the farebox. The farebox will beep confirming your pass has been accepted.
  7. If you are unable to scan your pass, show the screen with the QR code and scrolling timestamp to the driver.
  8. Have a seat and enjoy your ride!
