New provost named
Elizabeth Watkins, a vice chancellor and dean at UC San Francisco, has been appointed provost and executive vice chancellor. An experienced leader and accomplished scholar, she will start in May 2021.

UCR author Nalo Hopkinson’s "Brown Girl in the Ring" made Time magazine's "100 Best Fantasy Books of All Time" list. The list includes titles published from the ninth century to January of this year.
