School of Medicine celebrates Match Day
Fifty-seven UCR medical students found out where they will continue their medical training in an online Match Day ceremony Friday. The School of Medicine's match rate was 97%.

National education group honors two GSOE professors

Author honored for community service efforts
UCR author Allison Hedge Coke has received the 2021 George Garrett Award for Outstanding Community Service in Literature by the Association of Writers & Writing Programs.

Human resources policy update
The campus has ended an interim policy introduced in April 2020 that suspended open faculty and staff searches, compensation actions, and two awards programs.

Three open-access agreements available to authors
UCR authors can now make their research available through open-access publishing agreements with the Royal Society journals, Canadian Science Publishing, and the Company of Biologists.
