I write with an update regarding the search for UCR's next Associate Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (AVC- DEI) at UC Riverside.

Please be advised that to ensure we are building a large and diverse candidate pool; we will be extending the application deadline for this search through January 21st, 2022.

Also, Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion & Chief Diversity Officer Mariam Lam, Search Committee Chair Interim Dean Louie Rodriguez, and other committee members will be hosting office hours on Tuesday, January 18th, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM to answer any questions about the position or the search process for any potential candidates.
