Professor earns NSF CAREER Award for data protection research
Basak Guler, an assistant professor of electrical and computer engineering, has received a $540,000 National Science Foundation CAREER Award to develop machine learning techniques that protect sensitive data.

Arturo Nevárez has won an award from the American Educational Research Association for the dissertation he wrote while earning his doctorate in the Education, Society and Culture program in the School of Education at UCR in 2021.
