[Ucrfacultyandstaff] Testing the Alertus Bell Tower Speaker Emergency Notification System

The Office of Emergency Management will be testing the Alertus Bell Tower Speaker emergency notification system beginning Wednesday July 19th, 2023 through Saturday, July 22nd, 2023 between the hours of 12 pm (Noon) and 1pm.  During this time, you may hear multiple tones periodically from the Bell Tower. A loud steady siren will sound varying in intensity and type, providing verbal instructions as follows: "This is a TEST of the Alertus Emergency Notification system.  No action is needed".

UC Riverside is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all campus stakeholders. An important aspect of this commitment is ongoing testing and refinement of the various communications technologies, systems, and processes used during emergencies.
