HACU Nominations for Leadership Programs

On behalf of the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU), we wish to highlight and encourage you to nominate professionals for the upcoming 2023-2024 cohort for two upcoming leadership programs focused on different career levels. Both programs are designed to increase the number of Hispanic leaders in Hispanic higher education. Please note limited scholarships may be available for applicants accepted to these programs.

The Enlace Mid-Level Leadership program, will cover areas such as academic and student affairs management, institutional accreditation, higher education advocacy issues, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Participants selected to this competitive six-month program will acquire skills essential to mid-mangers at institutions.
Program Costs:  $4,000
Deadline to submit to HR:  March 27, 2023
Application process:  Please complete the application form<https://o365ucr-my.sharepoint.com/personal/judyab_ucr_edu/Documents/Desktop/HACU%20Enlace%20Mid%20Level%20Leadership%20Program%20Application%20Nomination%20Form%202023-24%20FILLABLE%20v2.pdf> and send to judith.abbey at ucr.edu<mailto:judith.abbey at ucr.edu>  (do not send the application directly to HACU, HR will be collect and submit all applications). The application/nomination must include endorsement from the direct supervisor and funding support (FAU) for the participation fee.
Selection Process:  The HACU selection committee will review and select participants.

HACU's Leadership Academy/La Academia de Liderazgo for higher education administrators aims to prepare the next generation of executive leaders at Hispanic-Serving Institutions, emerging HSIs and other institutions of higher learning. Program alumni are serving as presidents and other leadership roles at HSIs.
Program Costs:  $10,000
Deadline to submit to APO:  March 27, 2023
