[Ucrfacultyandstaff] Campus Impact: Spring Splash, April 29-May 2

Dear Highlander Community,

On Saturday, May 2nd, the Associated Students Program Board (ASPB) will
host UCR’s annual end-of-the-year concert, Spring Splash. We want to inform
you of potential amplified sound and limited access to inner campus during
the event. Our team submitted an amplified sound exemption request that has
been approved between the hours of 8:00 AM–10:00 PM. *Spring Splash will
take place on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM*.

*Impact to inner campus will begin on Wednesday, April 29th, vendor load-in
and stage installation with fencing beginning on Friday, May 1st. Access
and routes to campus buildings will remain open until Saturday, May 2nd at
12 PM.*

Please note that beginning at 12:00 PM Saturday, May 2nd, 2026, portions of
the *Belltower, HUB, Pierce, and Rivera Lawn* areas will be fenced off, and
access to inner campus areas will be restricted. Students, faculty, and
staff will need to use alternate walking routes, which will be clearly
marked with signage. A map of these routes is included for your reference.
