*School of Medicine receives continued accredidation*

The School of Medicine has received full continued accreditation from the
Liaison Committee on Medical Education after meeting all 93 LCME
accreditation elements and 12 standards with no citations or concerns.

*Orbach Library reflooring underway*

New flooring and carpeting is being installed on the first floor of Orbach
Library this summer. Some areas will be closed off but the library will
remain open during the project.

*Gender and sexuality scholar awarded fellowship*

Jack Cáraves, assistant professor of gender and sexuality studies, has been
awarded a 2026-27 Career Enhancement Fellowship by the Institute for
Citizens and Scholars, which will help him finish the manuscript of his
first book.
