Dear Colleagues,

I am writing to share several important organizational updates regarding
Finance and Administration, formerly known as Planning, Budget, and
Administration.



*Campus Procurement and Real Estate Services*

Effective September 1, Procurement Services, including Business Contracts,
and Real Estate Services will come together to form a new unified
division: *Campus
Procurement and Real Estate Services*, under the leadership of Jeremy
Meadows, UCR’s Chief Procurement Officer.

As part of this change, Procurement Services will move from Business &
Financial Services to the new division and will report directly to me.
Business & Financial Services will continue to lead the university’s core
financial, accounting, and related administrative functions.

The two divisions will remain closely aligned, recognizing the important
connections among Procure-to-Pay, financial systems, contracting, and the
university’s broader financial operations.

In addition, *Faculty Housing will move from Real Estate Services to
Auxiliary Services*, reporting to Heidi Scribner, Associate Vice Chancellor
for Auxiliary Services.



*Associate Vice Chancellor, Financial Planning & Analysis*

We are also pleased to announce the upcoming search for an *Associate Vice
Chancellor for Financial Planning & Analysis (AVC, FP&A)*.

This new leadership role will be instrumental in advancing the university’s
integrated financial strategy, long-range planning, and institutional
resource allocation. The AVC will serve as a key partner to executive
leadership, strengthening our financial analytical capabilities and
supporting sustainable, data-informed financial decision-making across the
institution.

We look forward to launching the recruitment soon and will share additional
information as the search progresses.
