FROM THE HIGHLANDER ACTION COMMITTEE

Hello Highlanders!

Highlander Action Committee Applications are having a 3 Day Event regarding Earth Day starting today!

Here are event details:

On Wednesday 04/19, the Highlander Action Committee will be tabling alongside ASUCR. There, we will be endorsing Friday's UCSA SEED webinar and "Paint your Pot" event. Students will get the opportunity to sign petitions supporting the Hawaiians' indigenous land, the halt of construction of the Thirty Meter Telescope (TMT), and more eco-friendly initiatives across all UCs.
Location: Belltower

Time: 10AM-2PM

On Thursday 04/20, the Highlander Action Committee will be tabling during GCAP's event. There, we will be endorsing Friday's TMT webinar and "Paint your Pot" event. On Friday 04/21, HAC will be hosting a "Paint your pot" event one hour before and after the TMT awareness webinar hosted by UC Student Association. During the "Paint your pot" event, students can paint pots and take home succulents.
Location: Bear's Den.

Time: 10AM-1PM

I hope you are all doing well. As you may know, Legislative Review Committee meetings for the Spring 2023 quarter are officially being held on Fridays from 12 PM - 1 PM. Therefore, if you are interested in submitting any legislation for review, please be sure to do so before 9 AM each Friday. All legislation should be submitted to the asucrprotempore at ucr.edu email address. As a reminder, please remember to hyperlink any and all sources when writing legislation that requires it.
