[Faculty] UCR SOM Admissions Interviews - Faculty Interviewers Needed

Dear UCR Faculty,

Each year UC Riverside School of Medicine conducts interviews for the Early Assurance Program (EAP). Candidates participate in Multiple-Mini Interviews (MMI), rotating through a circuit of staff, faculty and community interviewers, answering a variety of ethical, social, cultural, and clinical-based questions. Interviewers are require to score each candidate on the basis of their answers to the questions. Your scores are then reviewed by the UCR SOM Admissions Committee for final selections of the incoming medical students.

Faculty members are invited to sign up for this event. Interviews will be held on Tuesday, May 10th, 5:30pm-8:30pm via Zoom with time commitments of no more than 3 hours. Please sign up using the link below no later than today, Wednesday, May 4th no later than 6:00pm. **Note: Interview slots are limited. Interviews will take place in the Zoom breakout rooms. You and one candidate will enter the breakout room where each interviewer will share one pre-recorded question to be answered by the candidate. At this period you will evaluate the candidate based on their response to the question. You will continue this process until every candidate has been interviewed. ** More information will be provided after sign ups.

The panelists are comprised of four current medical students and one recent admit who entered the medical program through EAP.
