[Faculty] Important Reminder-Faculty Pay and Academic Service Period

Please see the attached letter on behalf of Dan Jeske, Vice Provost for Academic Personnel concerning Service Period vs Pay Period memo.

The memo dated November 28, 2023, has been updated to include the following:



  *   Academic Year 2023-24 Dates for Fall-Winter-Spring
  *   Academic Year Calendar for years 2022-2027 with new link
  *   UCPath Effective Dates and Job Aid information for faculty retiring



This information will be available on the Academic Personnel Website>Local Compensation Policy and Guidelines>Service Period vs. Pay Period, found here<https://academicpersonnel.ucr.edu/compensation#local-compensation-policy-and->.

The appointment letter template will be revised to include the updated memo and a separate email will be sent to Academic Personnel staff once it's finalized.
