Dear UCR Faculty,

Welcome back to the fall quarter from the Registrar's Office! Please read on below for important information regarding grading and iGrade for the term.
Course rosters are now available in iGrade
Please take a moment to review your course list for accuracy. Doing this review now will make grade submission run much more smoothly at the end of the term.
To review your course list:

  1.  Log into iGrade<https://igrade.ucr.edu> with your UCR NetID and password
  2.  Your courses for the Fall term should display. If they do not:
     *   Select "Fall 2023" from the "Select a Term" drop down menu
     *   Click "Update Course List"
     *   Your current course(s) for Fall 2023 should then be visible
  3.  Contact your department scheduling coordinator for assistance if your course list has missing or incorrect courses



Fall 2023 Grade Submission Schedule
Rosters available in iGrade
Monday, September 25
Grade submission opens
Monday, December 4 @ 8am (Week 10 of the Fall term)
Final grade submission deadline
Tuesday, December 19 @ 11:59pm (Tuesday after finals)

iGrade Roster Updates
To support the campus implementation of the Gender Recognition and Lived Name (GRLN) policy<https://policy.ucop.edu/doc/2700693/GRLN>, the modifications below have been made to the iGrade roster. These changes add or clarify information within the system and do not reflect a change in grading procedures.

*   Name: This column will reflect a student's lived name rather than their legal name, as previously displayed in the system. This field is dynamic and will update each time you open your roster if a student has made a change to their lived name.

*   Pronouns: This column has been added to iGrade. Providing pronouns is an optional choice available to students and this field may be blank for some or all students on your roster. Like the name field, this is dynamic and will update each time you open your roster.

*   Current Grade: Previously titled "Banner Grade", this is the current grade of record for the student.

*   New Grade: Previously titled "iGrade", this is the most recent grade entered into the iGrade system.

*   Grade Level: The level at which the student is registered into your course (undergraduate, graduate, etc).

*   Grade Basis: The grading basis under which the student is enrolled in your course (letter, S/NC, etc).

*   Notes & Grade History: These icons have been reorganized into separate columns for improved visibility.
