[Msoadm] Ladder Rank Titles and Other Related Titles Range Adjustment Increase 4% Effective October 1, 2022

Dear All:

Below is the Academic Range Adjustments Program effective for October 1, 2022. The updated tables are posted on UCOP’s Academic Personnel and Programs salary scales page, found here<https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/compensation/2022-23-academic-salary-scales.html>.

Salary Scales for Professor series, Professor of Teaching series, and other related titles will receive a 4% salary scale rate increase effective October 1, 2022 (subject to rounding). There will also be a 3% increase of off-scale and above-scale salary components (subject to rounding up to nearest $100).   

Senate Ladder Rank Faculty identified to receive a fixed-dollar equity adjustment will receive that as an additional off-scale increase effective October 1, 2022, and prior to the 3% off-scale increase. ·         Faculty ladder rank, equivalent faculty, and other faculty Tables 1-4.

·         Faculty ladder rank, participants of Health Sciences Compensation Plan Table 5, Scales 0-9

·         Faculty Lecturer with Security of Employment Series Tables 1L-4L

·         Faculty Lecturer with Security of Employment Series, participants of Health Sciences Compensation Plan Table 5L, Scales 0-9

The range adjustment is being coordinated by the Office of the President-Academic Personnel and will be implemented by the UCPath Center (UCPC) in conjunction with the Central Academic Personnel Office and UCR UCPATH Campus Support Center.  Existing Faculty with system wide scale rates will be updated via the ranges adjustment process in mid-September. Orgs will be notified and sent a validation report prior to the range adjustment and another report when the updates are complete.

Below is the October 1, 2022, salary program timeline schedule and attached are all the job titles being range adjusted.

*UCPath Center freeze transactions for affected population. Please see attached job code listing of affected job titles during the freeze.

LR job titles and other related job titles post range population rates approved by departmental units
11/01/22 Monthly
LR job titles and other related job titles Paycheck Date
*Freeze only applies to Pay Component changes to the Impacted Population (which are those in the salary plans being range adjusted).
(Pay Component changes include job code changes, employee classification changes, salary plan changes, pay rate changes, etc.)
New Hire, Concurrent Hire, Rehire, Termination, Retirement, Extend Job, and Short Work Break transactions CAN be processed.
Freeze DOES NOT apply to any other populations.
