Dear all,
UCPath Compensation Team has reported errors identified for the range adjustment process for the Ladder Rank Titles effective October 1, 2022. Our campus was impacted specifically with the HCOMP faculty (with an off-scale o/s) who are missing their Y pay component. UCPath is working on deleting the rows processed on Monday, 9/15-Tuesday, 9/16 for this population. This has been urgently escalated to their ITS team to resolve ASAP.
UCPath is also working on finishing the range adjustment processes for all Ladder Rank titles to ensure the 4% base annual, 3% to above-scale and 3% off-scale salaries are adjusted.
Please note to AP Units: AP Units were already provided a preliminary report prior to the range adjustment process and should expect a post range adjustment process report sometime this week.
Please note to the Shared Services Centers/UCPath transactors instructions from UCPath Compensation Team: “Please do not submit a case to request a fix the future dated rows. Please do not add a 10/1/22 row to try and resolve errors identified for rows that will be deleted.”
I’m also getting clarification if the freeze period has been lifted for Ladder Rank Titles to transact in UCPath for rows effective for 10/1/22. More communication may come from UCPath directly concerning the ladder rank range adjustment process.
We are anticipating a post range adjustment process report to be available by end of day Tuesday, 9/20/22 and plan to distribute to the units to review as soon as possible.

Below is the Academic Range Adjustments Program effective for October 1, 2022. The updated tables are posted on UCOP’s Academic Personnel and Programs salary scales page, found here<https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/compensation/2022-23-academic-salary-scales.html>.
Salary Scales for Professor series, Professor of Teaching series, and other related titles will receive a 4% salary scale rate increase effective October 1, 2022 (subject to rounding). There will also be a 3% increase of off-scale and above-scale salary components (subject to rounding up to nearest $100).
Senate Ladder Rank Faculty identified to receive a fixed-dollar equity adjustment will receive that as an additional off-scale increase effective October 1, 2022, and prior to the 3% off-scale increase. The range adjustment is being coordinated by the Office of the President-Academic Personnel and will be implemented by the UCPath Center (UCPC) in conjunction with the Central Academic Personnel Office and UCR UCPATH Campus Support Center. Existing Faculty with system wide scale rates will be updated via the ranges adjustment process in mid-September. Orgs will be notified and sent a validation report prior to the range adjustment and another report when the updates are complete.
Below is the October 1, 2022, salary program timeline schedule and attached are all the job titles being range adjusted.
