UCR Human Resources (HR) recently announced

that the new employee self-service portal, R’Employee Services, will launch
on Monday, January 12, 2026.



Background

The launch of the R’Employee Services portal is part of the multi-year Avanti
HR Roadmap <https://hr.ucr.edu/avanti>, which aims to strategically
transform HR services into a unified HR ecosystem. As UCR HR shared in
their announcement, beginning January 12, UCR staff can use the R’Employee
Services portal to access select HR services, including Leave of Absence
and retirement counseling requests.

Save The Date

Prior to the launch, UCR HR and Information Technology Solutions (ITS) will
hold a Town Hall on *January 8, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am *(register
to attend
<https://ucr.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_0vWMSlb3RTqcWmDAQZ0P1Q#/registration>).
Chief HR Officer Alex Najera and Chief Information Officer Matt Gunkel will
share more about the R’Employee Services portal, and attendees will be able
to see a demo of the portal and receive access to training resources. I
highly encourage you to attend, as this is an excellent opportunity to ask
questions about new HR processes.
