The Avanti R’Employee Services Portal Is Now Live





Dear Colleagues,



UCR Human Resources and Information Technology Solutions are excited to
announce that UC Riverside’s new employee self-service portal, R’Employee
Services, is now live!


The launch of the R’Employee Services portal is a huge milestone for
Avanti, a joint initiative between UCR HR and ITS. Avanti’s goal is to
implement integrated technology solutions that streamline HR operations,
increase efficiency, and enhance the employee experience.



*How to Access R’Employee Services *

Starting May 1, 2026, the R’Employee Services portal is accessible to all
UCR staff via hr.ucr.edu/portal. Staff members may use the portal’s
self-service feature to initiate the following requests:

   - *Leave of Absence*: Submit a request for medical or personal leave and
   track your request status directly within the portal.
   - *Retirement Counseling*: Request personalized sessions with UCR HR’s
   retirement counselors.

*HR Partner Tools Available in The HR Agent Workspace*

Part of UCR HR and ITS’ ongoing commitment to streamlining HR services and
improving the employee experience across UCR is the development of the HR
Agent Workspace <https://hr.ucr.edu/agent>. The platform, built on
ServiceNow, centralizes the workflow for the following:


   - *Class & Comp*: Salary reviews and contract review submissions
   - *ELR Consultations*: Guidance on labor relations and policy
   - *Leave of Absence*: Processing of leaves for employees



*Join The Upcoming Avanti Training Sessions*

*HR partners and Shared Service Center* staff are invited to join the training
events <https://hr.ucr.edu/avanti#hr-partners-shared-service-cen> happening
in May. We will be covering key topics, including Leave of Absence, ELR,
Benefits, and Class & Comp. You will also be trained on how to use the
R'Employee Services portal dashboard.


*Campuswide staff (represented and non-represented)* are encouraged to join
the R'Employee Portal Training for Campus

   - How to use the R’Employee Services portal
   - How to submit a request for:
      - Leave of Absence via the portal (Staff employees only)
