As we approach fiscal year-end (June 30), I encourage you to attend Fiscal
Close Office Hours:

This session is intended to support departments with questions related to
the FY26 Schedule & Deadlines
<https://accounting.ucr.edu/FY26-Year-End-Close> and overall close
activities.

While we strive to keep changes to fiscal close timelines to a minimum,
there have been a few updates that require your attention. These updates
are:

Please review these materials carefully and check the site regularly to
ensure you are working from the most current information.

As a reminder, meeting published deadlines is critical to achieving a
timely and accurate close. All transactions should be complete, accurate,
and fully supported. With the transition to a new external auditor this
year, departments should also expect potential changes in audit requests
and documentation requirements.
