FILING FOR CANDIDACY HAS BEEN EXTENDED!
BECOME NONTRADITIONAL STUDENT DIRECTOR, TRANSFER SUDENT DIRECTOR, OR INTERNATIONAL STUDENT DIRECTOR!
Candidacy for ASUCR Elections 2021 - 2022 has extended for three Director positions! This extension closes on March 6, 2022, at 11:59 pm. You can apply to run for an extended cabinet position and represent students that come from nontraditional routes, transfer students, or international students to UCR! You must have completed 3+ quarters at UCR, have a minimum of a 2.50 GPA, and must be enrolled full-time. This is a PAID position. Also, you would be the first to become Nontraditional Director if elected as this position was newly created last year. You can find both the Candidacy Packet 2022<https://associatedstudentsucr.seamlessdocs.com/f/9digj0ohcm2h> and the Candidate Biography 2022<https://associatedstudentsucr.seamlessdocs.com/f/s32iihtzkpv7> (due March 4, 2022, @ 11:59 pm) under the Candidacy Paperwork section of the Elections Forms website<https://elections.ucr.edu/elections-forms>.
Each and every student has the power to make a difference on our campus. Taking the first step begins with student body government. Student representatives are important for the success of this campus, as they voice student concerns and find solutions that strengthen UCR and help students. Without the voice of nontraditional students, the campus is not fully represented. On behalf of Associated Students of UCR, the Elections Committee invites you to make a mark on Highlander history and apply for candidacy today!
Sincerely,
Tricia Sarmiento (she/her/hers)

STUDENT HOUSING SURVEY:
Hello Highlanders!
The Student Voice Committee is reopening the Student Housing Survey for a short-time. We wanted to give more students a chance to complete the survey and make their voices heard.
This survey was created to better understand how UCR students feel about the quality of campus housing and what changes students would like to see. Your participation in completing the survey is very important to us and the survey findings will be presented to the ASUCR Senate, in the hope that improvements are made. The survey closes Friday, March 4, so please fill it out before then.
The link to the survey can be found here:
