Dear Highlanders,
Welcome to the 2025–2026 academic year at UC Riverside! I want to share
important information that will help ensure the health and safety of our
campus community.
UCR has a mandatory immunization process for all incoming and returning
students. We’ve partnered with Med+Proctor, a third-party vendor, to make
this process as easy for you as possible.
What You Need to Do
1) Set up your account at medproctor.com
<https://support.medproctor.com/faq-about-medproctor/> using your UCR
student email
2) Complete the Medical Information & Immunization Form
3) Complete the TB screening questionnaire
4) Upload required vaccination documentation
Immunization verification through Med+Proctor is free for the standard
service. Optional expedited processing is available for a small fee.
Where to Get Vaccinated
Beginning Sept. 22, students with UC SHIP (student health insurance) can
get all required vaccinations free of charge at Student Health Services.
Appointments can be scheduled through the Student Health Patient Portal
<https://studenthealth.ucr.edu/meeting-immunization-requirements>. Students
without UC SHIP can receive vaccinations on campus for a fee or through
their own health provider.
Student Health Services is located on the first floor of the Student Health
and Counseling Center (SHCC) near Lot 21.
Avoid a Registration Hold
The deadline for medical clearance for the fall quarter is Oct. 13.
Complete your verification right away to avoid a health hold on your
account, which will block you from registering for classes or making
changes to your class schedule.
Questions regarding immunization verification?
Visit the Med+Proctor FAQ
<https://support.medproctor.com/faq-about-medproctor/>. For UCR-specific
questions, send a message through the Student Health Patient Portal

Thank you for helping to keep our campus healthy for a safe and successful
year ahead.
