[Ucrfacultyandstaff] Notice: Emergency Maintenance Affecting Windows File Sharing

Esteemed Faculty & Staff, 

Please be advised of emergency maintenance to Windows File Sharing services,
taking place from 7:00 AM tomorrow, February 6, until 5:00 PM on Sunday,
February 7, 2021.   

During the maintenance window campus users should expect to be unable to
access personal and department shares as Windows File Sharing will be
unavailable. 

This emergency maintenance is required by the vendor to make critical
security updates to the system.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your
patience as we work to ensure this critical update is applied to our
systems.
