*This week is ASUCR....*
*Decolonize Environmental Justice*: Join GCAP, External Affairs and Native
American Student Program representatives on Thursday October 16 at 2pm in
HUB 367 to discuss and educate students on how environmental justice
efforts need to be decolonized. We discuss case studies of how indigenous
groups have been treated wrongly and how we can learn from corporations’
mistakes and aim for a better future for environmental justice. Students
will engage in de-stressing activities like painting tote bags and creating
their own DIY fidget toys from recyclable materials to help them process
the information in the presentation.
